George (Tommy) Thompson Jr, of Takoma Park, MD passed away Friday, April 29, 2016, at Washington Hospital Center. Born December 6, 1953, in Kittanning, PA. He was the son of George Marlin Thompson Sr. and Alice Elaine Swigart Thompson. George is survived by his wife Robin Thompson, one daughter Melissa Thompson and two sons George and Sean Thompson, two sisters Tracy Denny and Lorri Mittelstetter and one brother Barry Thompson.He was preceded in death by a sister, Pamela Ware Thompson and a brother, Terry Thompson, Sr. A celebration of life to be scheduled at a later date.
